Feather Prepper

Makes handling tiny feathers for split threads easy.

I use this tool often for cdc feathers and also hen neck feathers. It holds a variety of sizes which is especially nice when tying smaller sized Game Changer patterns.

It has been a convenience more than a necessity, but it can trap and hold pesky CDC feathers nicely. However, it is very light weight, so much so that when you lift up on the trapped feathers you need a third hand to hold it down. Unless you attach it, as I did, to something heavy or fixed.
