Soft steel

Unfortunately I have found the steel on this bodkin to be extremely soft, resulting in a bent tip numerous times now. For the price, I was expecting a much better quality.

Love This Bodkin

What I like about this bodkin is the needle which I think is very heavy duty,

I recently upgraded to...

I recently upgraded to this bodkin from one that came with a starter set that was significantly shorter and the point had become dulled after repeated drops (my fault). My only preference/suggestion to making this even better would be to hollow out the non-bodkin tip and make this a combination half-hitch tool. That said, excellent quality finishing to it and I love the additional heft.
