To make easy and really bright hot spots and tags on fly patterns, it's as easy as adding a few wraps of this strong material. Adding a coating of UV resin greatly increases not only durability but also brightness! Originally intended as cheeks for buzzer (midges/chironomids) patterns made popular in Europe, I personally use this as hot spot tags on my caddis dry flies... A couple of wraps of this stuff make an awesome and super durable "egg sack" on caddis and stonefly dry fly patterns.
