Great Bobbin, the 3" would be perfect for someone with exceptionally small hands. I don't have big mitts but the 3" was a little small for me. Either way I continue to use it, and it's among the best bang for the buck bobbins you can get.

Bobbin breaks or cuts threads
I've had an unusual experience with this bobbin: it readily breaks or cuts threads if I apply anything more than minimal pressure with the thread at an angle where it exits the bobbin. It's reproducible, and I've never had a similar problem with any other bobbin. I don't find a visible burr or other defect to explain it.
