Cement in Plastic Applicator Bottle

I love the applicator bottle and the glue itself works well. But it comes out extremely thick. So thick that it just makes a little blob that sits on top of your thread and doesn’t disperse at all.

I expected a thin cement that would penetrate wraps before hardening. Instead, this is thick and gummy and requires a long hard squeeze to get anything to dispense. It leaves a string of goo behind and both the fly and bottle have to be cleaned after every use. Needle tends to stick. Not worth the time and extra work.

I was hoping for a thin fluid that would flow easily and be absorbed into the thread before drying. Instead I have to squeeze hard for several seconds to get a thick pasty drop that trails a messy line of goo and requires the fly and the bottle to be cleaned after every use. Not worth the time and trouble.
