Cement in Plastic Applicator Bottle

Very disappointed with the applicator bottle. The first couple times I used the product it worked pretty good. Then after not tying for a month I came back to find the cement had dried and clogged the nozzle. I cleaned it and it seemed to work fine, but it eventually it clogged again and I could not even remove the cap/needle that goes in the applicator nozzle. Lesson learned - stick with using a bodkin to apply head cement.

These are great applicators.It works best when the bottle is mostly full or stored on its side or upside down.That way the cement doesn't dry out.Also,if you are not going to use it for a period of time.Remove the cement from the bottle and clean it out with thinner.Dipping the needle in thinner and clean out the point on occaision helps too.
Had mine for many years and it keeps on ticking!

I finally took the plunge and grabbed the head cement applicator bottle. Its so incredibly simple but it works great. Much more fine a point than a standard bodkin and the added benefit that the needle top helps to keep the head cement from hardening inside the tip. Well worth it!
