With a 2X long shank and down eye, this strong and versatile hook gives you the space and durability needed to tie full-bodied, weighted nymphs for trout and steelhead. On the fence

The shape is perfect for a stonefly but some of the hooks I got bent really easy. But since that order I haven’t had that problem and I check every time now. So, possibly a batch that wasn’t heat treated. Still keeping an eye to find sizes 8-10-12 in a Daiichi.

Great concept but weak

I love this style hook style for streamers too ride hook point up with a bead at the bend. Found the hook to be a bit weak though.

Core hooks bent too easily.

Thought I would give the Core brand a try. I had trouble with them bending too easily. If you bend them back, they become weak in the area where they originally bent. I donâ€™t trust them.
