It is a super sharp stick, fer tru. I found the wire thinner than expected for a heavy wire. My 3 mm beads were loose and closed the eye a bit, plus had a problem with capillary draw of UV resin through the bead slot to the eye on Perdigon's. In all fairness, I'm too cheap for Firehole beads which may seat better. I had the keep a random feather rachis in the eye while dealing with resin finale.

I use this hook for Rainbow Warrior's and Red Darts, but the uses are endless. Besides that hooks prices have gone up a lot in the last several years but Firehole has been very fair and considering the amount you get you can't go wrong with Firehole. They are sharp, strong and very affordable. Excellent hooks
