Nice shape for a wax worm fly. Kinda thin, not a heavy hook. The 1870βs are stronger but have a bit of a tight gap compared to these
Nice shape for larva and pig sticker flies. These however are very thin and bend a little too easy.
I have used these to tie caddis pupae patterns, and I really like them. They provide a nice natural profile that the fish seem to like.
