Excellent for egg flies. Holds up under some very tough conditions - have made literally thousands of egg flies and have never had a single hook straighten out. Definitely a 5 star product

The Mustad 9174 is a great hook for tying egg flies for salmon fishing. Never had any problems with this hook breaking or bending. Great porduct!
