Description

J. Stockard's tube fly adapter works in any vise that holds 2/0 hooks. The finely machined brass body of this handy tool fits into the jaws of your vise and you select from the 3 pins provided to fit your tube. The adapter holds tubes firmly for tying, dressing and inspection of your tube flies. Instructions not included.

Other Details

The diameters of the pins (mandrels) included with this tool are 0.0031", 0.0043" and 0.0047". The metric sizes are 0.8mm, 1.1mm and 1.2mm.

Excellent tube tool

This is one of the best tools for tube tying. I teach people fly tying and got a couple of this and I have others but this one is very nice and attaches to any vise.

Great for free!

Got this for free on an order. I haven't tied too many tube flies, but I am sure it is something I can eventually get into. Fits in my vise well and saves from having to buy a whole other vise (for now LOL).

Great Tool

Have several other tube fly adapters, all much more expensive than this tool! For the money, this is the best tool I have in my tool box for tying tube flies!! And, it is rock solid in its ability to hold a tube while tying.
