Great colors, length and sparkle make this the ultimate replacement for craft fur. Ties in great and moves like marabou. Fibers are 10" long, tied together in the middle.

Good alternative to craft fur !!!

Reviewer: from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais BR

I'm using this to make bonefish wings, it's supple, shines and don't lump together. When I use it, I don't see the needs of use kristal flash. I think It's have a more natural shine !!!

Great Shucking material

Reviewer: from Simsbury, CT US

I use the orangutan color for shucks on all of my emerger patterns and it is hands down the best shuck material to date. Very shiny, translucent and behaves like a real nymphal shuck in the water. I also utulize several of the other colors for wings on caddis pupa patterns.

Simply the best

Reviewer: from Tamaqua, PA US

Bottom line is that i have never used a better material for shucks. Works equally great for caddis wings. Super stuff. Thanks JS for making it available.

excellent material

This stuff makes great baitfish patterns, especially when blended with other material like Neer Hair. Great flash and very translucent

Bass Streamer material

Reviewer: from Cumberland Plateau.

The first fly I have tied using Ice Fur came out ok. It is a six inch hank of Ice fur. It is described as a replacement for craft fur. Pros: easy to tie with, the white is translucent in water, flairs out in the water. It is not as buoyant as craft fur. Cons: it is not tapered like craft fur, my sharpie ran( I may have sink tested too soon). I need to fish and adjust. I plan to purchase more in different colors.
