FM5125 Jig Force Short Barbless Black Nickel Fly Hook

Really excited for this hook. I have been looking for a strong jig hook that has the eye turned like this. My reason for this turned eye (which is unlike other jig hooks) is for multi-nymph setups when you are tying them in-line. Standard jig hooks will like the hook point up with the tippet when pulled tight. This will allow the hook point to right perpendicular to the tippet, which I’m hoping will result in my positive hookups.

These are great for perdigon's.

I've been using Hanak hooks, then I started using FullingMill hooks. I measured and found that besides the bigger hook gap of the FullingMill 5125, the only difference between the Hanak H450BL and FM5125 is the hook length. So, a Hanak H450BL #14 is essentially equal to a FullingMill FM5125 #16. The overall length of the FullingMill FM5125 #16 is only 1/32 longer than the Hanak H450BL #14. The big advantage the FullingMill is the hook gap.
