UNI-Nylon Thread

I'm using this thread on my CDC dries. It lays nice and flat and splits easily for dubbing.

For many years I used a UTC black 70 denier... and I bought this (black & white 70 denier) to try... Now when I need a black thread, my hand reaches first this thread! Really flat! Strong! Good for regular tying dry flies, nymphs, hoppers... Tying with foam!

...and then I found Uni NYLON. I ordered a spool of white to sample and soon ordered more in both colors, all in 70 denier. As it comes off the spool, this is a truly flat thread. There is no bulk whatsoever. Give the bobbin a spin to tighten up the thread, and you'll be tying small heads on #16s & #18s. Splits readily for dubbing application. I also like that it's unwaxed. Until UNI releases more colors (ask them!), you can tint the white with marker. Generous spool for the $.
