UNI Yarn

I got a few common bug colors *just to try* and found it a really nice way to get super fast mildly "buggy" bodies on skinny nymphs. I'm so pleased with it, I'm coming back for more colors. Definite win! :)

This yarn is great for nymphs. One can wind it in a way that indicates a segmented abdomen, then use a waterproof marker to color the top surface, leaving the segmentation apparent. Brown over light yellow, for instance, for small stonefly nymphs. Additionally, dubbing can be added to this yarn to bulk out the thorax area. Great colors, too.

As others have stated this is a great material for bodies, especially ones that are dubbed. I used the yellow yarn to tie stimulators. The yarn gives a very neat & uniform body.
