I am perfectly happy, five stars, with the product fulfilling my intended use for it. It's a stiffer product to give a broader profile at the front of my flies. It also sheds water beautifully. My problem is that the colors on websites for this material does not often match the colors that I receive. And this is the case for 2/4 that I received today. If you look at the website color samples, the brown I ordered looks like the tan color sample. The orange I ordered, is very pale and not uniform in color. While pale throughout, it looks faded in the middle.
I took a picture to help others see what some of this material really looks like, but the website kept coming up with a notice reading there weren't enough permissions...
If this helps you make your choices: red, black, and yellow, smoke gray, and white are accurate The pink is bright and close enough. Brown is much too close in color to the tan. Orange is not close to the color sample. Very pale and the center looks peach. If you ever want to order peach elsewhere, when I got it a couple years ago, it looked like a pale pink.
I wonder if the quality control is lacking when they are dying the product and potentially when packaging it. I know have a lifetime supply of tan and really needed brown.
