I've tied streamers for steelhead and big browns using Senyo's Articulated Shanks, and tried several options. This one is best I've seen - and served VERY well this season. Stiffness keeps hook from getting swung around and caught in the bodies of the flies for more consistent hookups on the swing. I pair standard size with the Daiichi 2557 sz 4 hook - eye of this is JUST big enough for the wire to slide through eye when wire is crimped into a tight bend. 2's would be easier, but I prefer smaller hooks.
Only complaint is how much you get per package... especially with longer, 40mm shanks in use.
Just don't use your good scissors to cut it... accidentally did this and ruined them. Cheap standard scissors work great.
