It is smaller than male pheasant feathers, but they work perfectly for new patterns for a fly tier experimenting with new nymphs and flies.

Works as good as...
Works as good as male pheasant except has a lighter color and the feather vanes aren't as long. Unless you just want another color then stick with the male feathers.

Light in color compared...
Light in color compared to natural male pheasant and has great mottled appearance. Makes great pheasant tail nymphs. The feather quills aren't as long as male pheasant but not by much, still makes an awesome looking nymph.
