Pine Squirrel Strips Micro 1/16"

These are thin enough to use for nymph collars.

I ordered the black micro strips a few weeks ago hoping for some short hair/thin hide strips for tying small summer steelhead patterns and trout streamers. I've been very impressed with the quality of the material. Far from being the exact same hair length as regular pine squirrel, the strips I got had slightly shorter hair in addition to being thinly cut. All the strips have good, consistent fur density on a thinly cut hide that maximizes movement. I would recommend these to anyone looking to tie well-proportioned streamers in smaller sizes.

These 1/16" zonkers are the perfect size for the smaller leech and slumpbuster patterns. Also have used these on some smaller craw patterns as claws and they hold up and look great!
