Excellent hook! Good bend, nice shank, straight eyed with a great black finish. I live 1000+ miles from the closest salt water fishery (the ocean). I picked up these hooks specifically to tie stoneflies for high elevation Rocky Mountain freshwater trout on them, and they're perfect for the application. Just because a hook says one thing, doesn't always mean it's only for that one thing. Saltwater Shrimp hook or not, it makes a pretty dang good looking stonefly too, just sayin'!
