Midge Tinsel

I use this tinsel for ribbing on various dry flys to add some flash and durability without the weight of wire. Love the look of it but sometimes it frays as the two layers of the tinsel come apart.

I use this for perdigons and it's great! Like the other reviewer I agree it can be a bit difficult to work with, but the results are worth the effort.

I love this for perdigones. The tinsel is very fine with a thread for more durability. It can be difficult to work with as it splays apart and is easily broken, but when covered with resin it is perfect. Paired with a rainbow bead head it looks amazing. I have already used the entire spool and will be placing an order for 2 more spools.
