Bobbin Stainless Midge

As you can see I'm a fairly frequent customer on you site.
I recently purchased three of the bobbins seen in this photo.
The elbow bend in the bobbin occurs too close to the thread spool such that the bobbin squeezes the spool too tightly. While this may be the intent and the meaning of the word "midge" in the description of the tool it was not clear to me that this would lead to a non-function tool.
