Partridge hooks are spectacular. By far the best quality and variety I have ever seen. The Partridge Patriot hooks are what I normally buy and I have never looked back or regretted my decision on using them. In fact, since I have been using the Patriot Series hooks I have stopped looking at other brands because I believe I have found the perfect hook.
They hold up well due to the rocky waters I fish because the hooks are strong and the points are very sharp. I can't think of any time I broke the hook point on a rock with these hooks. I do have to be honest here and say the sizes differ than what your probably used to. They run a half size smaller than what most sizes are, so a #14 is actually a #13.
I just hope J. Stockard picks up more of the Partridge hooks, especially more of the Patriot Series. Hint, hint.
