I now have 4 patches of this stuff, 2 gray and 2 red. The gray is phenomenal and the red is pretty good too. One of the red fox patches appears to have been cut from the belly portion of a hide. So there isn't a many long red guard hairs but there is a ton of shorter white ones and the underfur is more of a cream color as the other patch looks like it's been cut from the back so there is more red guard hairs and the underfur is more of a gray color. I save the underfur when I cut plugs of hair out so I'll probably mix all the underfur from both red patches and put it in some sort of container to use for nymphs and such. The gray fox patches appear to both have been cut from the back if a pelt and boy is it gorgeous! The fur is nice and thick and the underfur is a very unique gray color. If you buy some buy the large patches if you can and buy one of each, they make some great looking clousers on top of whatever other patterns you can think of.
