Definitely has a wide gap for better hook up, and oversized so if you use a fm50 45 size 14 and want one of these in place of it you will go to a 16 and an 18 in place of the 16 .very sharp and strong and the 16 work well with an 3.5mm slotted tungsten bead and the 18 is perfect for the 3.0 bead.

Very Pleased with the Fulling Mill Hooks

I have been very pleased with the FM5125. I've also tied with the Hanak 450BL but the price point of the FM5125 makes it a lot more attractive.
