Fly Tying LED Light

I basically liked this light; it is inexpensive, easy to attach to the base of a vise and it is very flexible/configurable. The reason I did not give it more stars is because the light quit working only after a few times that I used it. I did find a flashlight on the internet that barely fit. I had to find a new clamp/head bolt and nut to replace the one that came with the light because it was too short after replacing with a slightly larger light. While replacing the light, I was concerned I might break the head clamp, so I was very careful and only slightly forced the new light into the head clamp. The lights I purchases were found on Amazon. They are brighter and better lights, super bright and zoomable. The replacement lights (2 pack): Tactical LED Flashlight S1500 and the bar code label says: X003A9WHM3 RECHOO Tactical Flashlight... Camping and Outdoor Use. I think I paid around $10.00 for the 2 pack.

I purchased these for myself and a friend. We are both very happy with them! The light hooks up easily to my vise, it's easy to replace my rechargeable batteries in the light, and I like how I can expand and concentrate the light depending upon whether I'm tying trout or musky flies. I wanted one of these for a few years, and I am happy with my purchase!

This light is not expensive. The mount is quite good; there is a little wobble, but once in place, it stays in place. I have it mounted on a Peak accessory shaft. I replaced the light with an LED flashlight because the light was too dim. The mount was worth the price of admission, though.
