Used the original version and while they had great action they absorbed so much water that they are difficult to cast in the larger to full sizes.
The Crystal version does not have this issue and looks good in the water. They are pearlescent slightly translucent. To get a more solid silhouette they will take sharpie markers well. I was hoping they would make the Micro version but found out I can get two flies from the original 8-9 inch length. Bass like these and will be trying them on Tarpon. Four stars because they seem pricey but compared to a half dozen prime hackles per fly maybe not.
