The single wire model is useful for bobbins with narrow tubes while the loop model makes quick work of a common task. Both have a small knob on the soft touch handle's end for a positive grip and a hex shaped upper end to prevent rolling off the tying bench.
I had a single wire threader made out of a old hat pin, That is what this reminds me of and it works just as good as my old one. I like this type of threader better then the twin wire version. Glad somebody has come out with this.
