This hook filled a need for me. I bought the largest size #6 for use with booby flies for big walleyes and trout. I previously had trouble with similarly sized and shaped hooks straightening out on large fish. The ones are heavy strong wire and don't straighten. They penetrate well due to being barbless and I like the matte black color. I will definitely buy more in smaller sizes
