Nice shape for larva and pig sticker flies. These however are very thin and bend a little too easy.

I have used these to tie caddis pupae patterns, and I really like them. They provide a nice natural profile that the fish seem to like.

I purchased a package...
I purchased a package of these hooks in size 14 during the sale in January. Initially tied some reverse mayfly patterns that looked great (though I need some practice to perfect this style). Then decided to tie some extended body damselfly nymphs. These hooks are absolutely perfect for this purpose!! Bend of the hook provides a great look and the swimming action can't be beat. I've utilized on warm water species so far, but plan on trying them out on stillwater trout next time the opportunity presents itself.
