Good weight to help...
Good weight to help the fly sink faster. Very sharp and durable as well. I've never had an issue and have been very happy with Daiichi hooks in general.

The Daiichi 1530 is...
The Daiichi 1530 is a great nymph hook. The wider gape comes in handy on smaller size flies. It is easy to slide beads on this hook because of the micro barb, which is also much more forgiving for the fish. Always needle sharp right out of the package. A very strong hook.
