1130 Wide Gape Scud Hook

These hooks make great midge patterns in smaller sizes and are a great general purpose hook for various nymph patterns utilizing a curved hook. Daiichi hooks aren't #1 in my experience; but for the price. they're quite a good option and maintain a good level of strength.

I gave these a try in replace of the Tiemco 2487. I tie a lot of Juju Baetis, and they still work well for those patterns, as well as others. Overall I'm happy with the shape, strength and sharpness.

I use these for different bass and carp patterns I like to tie, never had a Daiichi fail me yet!
