Every feather on these grade 1 skins is used for tying flies. The church window back feathers are used for bug wings and spent wings. Rump feathers make great quill bodies and wet fly hackle, and deep metallic body feathers for natural color wet fly hackle. These skins come with no head, wings or tail. (Tails and tail feathers are sold separately.)

A wide assortment of feathers and colors. Great for wet flies, life like buggers with tremendous movement. Dyed olive are perfect for stillwater.

Great skin for the price!

Reviewer: from New Hampshire, USA

Skin arrived in great shape and it is gorgeous. I love pheasant. Such a beautiful bird. There is a wide range of uses for this skin and if you like to tie a lot of different types of flies you can find a feather on this bird for almost any application. The price is almost as attractive as the bird itself!

Enough for a lifetime!

Whenever I need some feathers for a wet fly, I just head to my trusty pheasant skin. The feathers showed up in great shape, they work well for my wet flies, and I honestly don't think I'll ever have to buy another as long as I live!

Excellent Skin

Reviewer: from Orange City, IA US

Received my skin earlier today. A very nice pheasant skin, all feathers in good condition. I use allot of pheasant for my fly tying and this will last me quiet awhile. Nice variety of rump & tail feathers. Very pleased with this skin. If you use allot of pheasant in your tying I'd recommend getting a full skin.
