I agree with Matthew. Before Mustad upgraded its hooks to chemically sharpened, I switched to the chemically sharpened hooks from Japan. I had to sharpen the old Mustad hooks before use. Often, I had to throw away malformed hooks I found in new packets of Mustad hooks. Then, Mustad got smart and chemically sharpened their hooks and launched the Signature brand. Mustad improved its quality control and I hardly ever found a malformed hook. I was back to Mustad. For reasons unknown to me Mustad abandoned its Signature brand and returned to the market after a brief hiatus with its Heritage line of hooks. It dropped some of the Signature hooks I came to rely on. So, now we have Heritage with a substantial increase in cost.
