The Atlas Vise is a true rotary fly tying vise with stainless steel construction and delrin sleeve bearings. Its 0-1 tool steel jaws have a hook size range from 7/0 to 32. Features include separate adjustments for tying friction and spindle lock (knurled end knob adjusts tying friction), rust-free Teflon bushings to retain smooth rotation and a long-throw cam action to open or close the jaws. An extended finger pin on the spindle with a ball end makes for easy winding of material on the hook, and the finger pin can be located in any of four pre-drilled spindle positions. Made in the USA, limited lifetime warranty.

A great rotary vise for the price! It's nice that it is comes with a base and a clamp. The base is plenty heavy to keep the vise from moving while tying. Jaw adjustment is easily done by rotating the large jam nut.
I've used this vise for about six years. You can not get a better vise for the price. I tie flies down to 28 and up to pike size and never have a problem. a great value and made in Indiana!
This vise is rock-solid! Stainless steel construction, one heavy base plate, adjustable jaws and smooth rotation. I am really happy with the construction and operation of this vise, and I expect it to last for a long time.
This vice is a great value. At first I was a bit unhappy with some of the looseness/slop in the rotating pieces, but corrected those deficiencies by inserting a small lock washer on the handle to keep it tight and by sliding a small sliver of synthetic cork in the key slot where the locking pin fits...that corrected the rest of the problem. With those two very minor adjustments, the vice is much tighter and performs superbly. A good friend of mine (a much more experienced fisherman) really liked it, saying that it compared favorably with his much more expensive vice.
Excellent vise. I recently purchased the Wolff Atlas with the base and have tied a couple dozen flies of varying sizes (22 up to a 4) and had absolutely no problems. The vise is incredibly easy to set up, very sturdy, and all of the movements are smooth. Absolutely worth the investment!
