Description

Twice as heavy as equivalent brass beads, without the environmental problems of lead. Use for streamers or tube flies. 10 per package.

Large cones are 6mm dia. and 5.0mm long; medium are 5mm dia. and 4.5mm long; small are 4.5mm dia. and 3.7 mm long; x-small are 4mm in diameter. Recommended hook sizes for each cone head size - large: sizes 1, 2, 4; med: sizes 2, 4; small: sizes 4, 6, 8.

Heavy, but they don't fit on most hooks. Only thing I could fit them on was a #8 wide gape dry fly hook.

Good, but expensive

Got these on sale and they aren't bad if you actually need the extra weight. Otherwise pricey and if they weren't on sale, I would have went with lead. Not much of a difference other than the weight, the price made them 3 stars.
