Extremely strong, lies flat without the slickness of Kevlar. While it's the heaviest of conventional (i.e., not GSP or kevlar) thread at 400 denier, it is also the strongest with a tested breaking strength of 100 oz. Use for saltwater or bass flies. 80 yd./spool.
perfect for tying large bass poppers. I like to spin hair with big fly thread. you can actually cut the hair before the thread will break. good stuff and nice range of colors.

I used this thread to tie all my saltwater flies and I've had no trouble with them holding up, even the flies without head cement. Great stuff!

I use this exclusively for all of my teasers, bucktails and saltwater flies. Very strong and durable, holds its color well. Really stands up to the harsh conditions of the Atlantic surf!

I got this to tie deer hair pike flies, you can really put alot of tension on it to spin the deer hair.
