I am not one to review products often, but think this deserves it. I watched a video review on line and it looked well designed and very useful. So, let's give the positives first. The small magnetic pick is no doubtful useful and nests nicely as promised and is quite effective. The magnets in the base as they should be. While my hinges did not break as in another review, I just don't see them lasting very long. Kudos to the Stonfo folks for the space to put the hook name and label and hook size, very nice idea. HOWEVER, the cons of this box vastly outweigh the pros. First of all is the intended use. If you need this as a fly tying desk repository for hooks, just look elsewhere. At $20 for the large box, I bought two, and still ran out of space simply because the size of the box is small. I guess I should have paid more attention to this. Unless you're a Lollipop kid there ain't no way you're putting any label in that tiny little iddy biddy space they give you. NONE. You need a label maker with 4 point font and then your tying scissors to cut the label small enough. Or you could use a fine point sharpie, like I did, and not have enough room to write the hook manuf. and model number, the spaces are that small on the smaller cells. Don't forget, you drop this puppy they ALL FALL OUT, magnets or not, a serious design flaw. This WOULD be a very good travel kit for hooks for streamside or demonstration tying and I don't think you could go wrong in that limited capacity. I give stars for design, but pull them back for it's Honey I Shrunk the Kids approach. IF Stonfo intended it as a travel kit, fine, but should label it as such. As a fly tying desk repository, no way. I'm $40 into these which could have gone toward the Orvis hook file; we live and learn.

Stonfo. Magnetic hook box

Sorry guys but this one is a no-no . The second time I opened the box the hinges broke. I ‘m glad the magnets were there or I’d had a real mess. The small magnetic stick is the best part of the hole thing.
