With an action between marabou and bucktail, Semperfli Predator Fibres are an alternative to Enrico Puglisi's EP Fibers but much more cost effective. Predator Fibres are available in a great array of colors in 18 inch strands - they are perfect for imitating large as well as smaller baitfish, whether tied on hooks or tubes for saltwater or freshwater flies. These fibers have a slight 'kink' allowing you to give the fly some bulk without having to use excess material. They do not absorb water so flies will cast well and give great movement in the water every time. Used as synthetic, translucent long tapered tail fibres, Predator Fibres are as delicate as traditional feather fibre but infinitely stronger. Available in a wide range of both blended and solid colors.

Great Material 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from Orlando Florida

I recently used this product to tie some large streamers for bass, mostly jerk heads and jig flies. Material is as easy to work with as EP fibers, builds bodies and profiles with little effort, but costs less than EP. I compared flies I had tied with both, and couldn't really tell the difference. Material sheds water easily so casting is a breeze. Good color selection, great action. I like it!

Seems to be Fly Tyer's Dungeon congo hair repackaged. Regardless, great material...

Easy baitfish 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from Springville, UT.

This fabulous material easily makes simple baitfish patterns and the synthetic properties not only give great action in the water, but because the fibers won't soak up water it makes for lighter flies too. This product will also double for use in dubbing brushes to which adding flash and other products makes an ultra simple baitfish for predatory fish species. Easy to manage and control for many desired effects and it will take color markers well.

I love using this on my baitfish patterns, also a great substitute in tying the famous sculpin pattern!

Finally Found My Favorite Streamer Hair 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from Arkansas

I've been searching for an ideal streamer hair and I think I've found it. It's basically EP Fibers, but you get more for your money. It has become a staple for my streamers, whether tying them in lengthwise or making a dubbing loop. This stuff has tons of potential.
