Description

An all-purpose sinking tip line with an easy casting taper and a supple, cold water coating. This line is ideal for fishing streamers to trout and steelhead and will get the fly down to the strike zone, while the floating section makes it easy to mend and control the fly.

Other Details

The lines are sold in "grain" weights, and we recommend the following conversion to appropriate rod sizes:

150gr = 5wt

200gr = 6wt

250gr = 7wt

300gr = 8wt

350gr = 9wt

I purchased this line for streamer fishing using primarily traditional bucktail unweighted flies. I am very happy with this line. It casts very well and sinking is perfect for my needs This is a killer line for swinging traditional bucktails in medium to large rivers in sizes #10 - #2. I am using this on both #6 ft. & #5 9ft. rods. This would be an excellent line for high cold H2O Atlantic salmon fishing in heavier line sizes. Better yet it is at a great price!
