High Quality

Reviewer: from Mississauga, Ontario CA

I have used several packs in a couple of different sizes of this great stuff. Other similar foam that I've tried are plagued with "voids" in the foam, making sections of the foam unusable. But this stuff from Rainy's is very high quality. It is also incredibly light, without (apparently) sacrificing durability. Try a pack of each of the 3 sizes to build up some ants, hoppers and beetles. I've even played around with a version of the Chernobyl ant using "Large/Orange". Another secret use of this material is to cut short lengths of "Medium/White" and use as the eyes in Boobys.

great foam body

Reviewer: from Bryan, TX US

The large make great size 10 popper body. For the money you can make a ton of size 10 popper. The orange and yellow are great bluegill's popper color or use the white and any permanent marker for any colors. I have all three and use them for all mine bluegill's popper body.

Great product

Very durable material. Works great for ants, beetles, etc. but also is great for floating baitish imitations.

Nice change up from sheet foam

Reviewer: from Springville, UT.

This product is a nice change from standard sheet foam for foam body styled dry flies... The foam rope can be cut in half (into a D-shape) and tied in to make half round foam bodies for a nice twist from traditional styled sheet foam dry flies. Makes a killer "Chernobyl Ant" with minimal effort and a really neat beetle, plus it makes super cool hopper bodies! It floats well and it's easy to work with too.

Works great!

Reviewer: from SW PA

Floats well, ties easy, bass crush it. Whats not to like. I have used it for small poppers and larger weedless frog type patterns with rubber legs stuck through the foam.
