The length and weight of the R74 makes it perfect for streamers, woolly buggers, big nymphs, etc. I've never had an R74 bend or break, and like all Mustad Signature hooks that I've tried (6 different models) they're always very sharp out of the box.

I used Musstad the first time I got into the hobby and now I still will not recomend any other brand. They are a great hook company. These are really good for my streamers and they look good when finnished.

Well made hooks at a great price. There may be lots of "fancier" hooks on the market but I've never gone wrong with Mustad hooks.

I've always been a fan of Mustad hooks. Great price and quailty. I have tried the new designer hooks on the market. Always come back to Mustads.
Just wish they would pick a model numbering system and stick to it
