Grade #1 Hen Cape

Hit and miss

I ordered 2 hen capes (Black and Brown). The black is awesome quality, I tied up a bunch of size 18 soft hackle may flies that look great. The Brown cape has most of the medium to smaller hackles broken at the tips, also just not as nice as the black cape. I fish in the west where flies are small, I need small hackles for my wet flies. Black cape total hit, Brown cape total miss. I am not sure if I will try this brand again, or just wait until the hoffman capes are in stock again.
