This UV hued fly tying chenille has medium size loose fibers that undulate in the water like marabou. It can be incorporated into any pattern for a buggier and livelier movement in the water. 3 yards per package. Fibers are 1/2" long.

Chenille and hackle combined

Reviewer: from Round Rock, TX US

I really like this product for Woolly Buggers in sizes 8 - 12. I tie a traditional marabou tail and then this chenille. Wrap it forward covering the shank while sweeping the fibers back. It does a great job of filling both purposes of the normal chenille and hackle with an UV kick. Strong woven core with lively fibers that is very durable.

UV Polar Chenille Makes Wooly Buggers Alive

Reviewer: from Inverness, FL US

I palmer counter wrap the UV Chenille over regular chenille in the bodies of Buggers. It adds dimension and depth to the bodies making them irresistible to the larger fish. For added depth, I add black hackle feathers over the top. Dynamite flies. The UV Chenille really makes them dynamic.

This stuff is hot! I use it on all of my buggers as a replacement of hackle +chenille... It is extremely easy to work with and I was very pleased with the amount of material per pack. All of the UV colors are very nice looking, and I think the fish should think so too!

Same great polar chenille, another great smaller size

Reviewer: from CA

I love polar chenille for larger streamers. Now I can see this being used on micro sized streamers, buggers etc. In fact its even slightly easier to work with since the fiber length is shorter. Thanks Hareline!
