Synthetic, fuzzy material that can be cut into strips and wrapped around the hook shank. Very effective for caddis and nymph patterns. Despite the name, the material will absorb water and can be used for crabs and crayfish. One piece per package, measures 5" x 6".
Used the olive, tan and cream for crab patterns I took to Belize. Worked great and easy to use. Many uses besides salt it looks like. I'll look to incorporate it into some my trout patterns as well.

whether you tie crayfish for bass or crabs for bonefish, you are at a loss without this stuff at your tying bench. Makes the most realistic crustacean shellbacks I've ever seen.

Makes quick work of nymph bodies. The fluor. chartreuse is great for small green weenies or worm imitations. Wish it came in more colors.
I really love this material. I've used it for many things from dragonfly nymph flies to crab patterns for saltwater. It's a very versatile material that can be used for everything.
