I have been using this in some humpies, Madam X and now EHC. This actually works and looks better than the elk hair I was using. It is easy to handle and has a more even appearance.

Works for compara Dun hair as well

I have been using the bleached color for my compara dun wings and have been pleased with the results. This hair stacks easily, and makes a nice even wing. The problem I have often had with dyed or bleached deer hair was a lot of broken fibers that when stacked have to be plucked out or the wing looks odd. This hair had very few if any of those hairs which cut down the time it takes me to tie up a sparkle dun considerably.

great hair

I use this instead of elk hair for my caddices. It is not as slick as elk hair and is easier to tighten down on the hook shank.

Great for small caddis

We have a tiny black caddis on our local rivers, and I use this stuff to make a tiny EHC. Full size deer hair is far too thick and long.
