Description

Large diameter, loose weave Mylar chenille, like ice chenille, but with pearlescent fibers which make it sparkle. Lots of flash, color and action. For large trout streamers, salmon, steelhead, bass and pike flies. 3 yds. per pkg.

A nice product, similar to estaz, but a bit stiffer, so its not as nice to use for tying. When the color is available, I like to go with estaz.

Love it 5 out of 5 stars

I used to be a fanatic about going the extra mile to spin dubbing loops of Ice Dub for under bodies on my streamers. Since trying Cactus Chenille I almost never bother anymore. Just make sure to tighten it up to the point where it stretches just a little bit like Kelly Galloup always does for durability.

Useful Stuff! 5 out of 5 stars

I have been using this on my LaFleur Charlie's and woolly buggers for a while, and I love it. It shimmers even underwater, and will have fish chasing it even if they miss it on the first try. The 9 foot rolls last a while, as you may use only between 3-5 inches for a fly at a time
