These plated brass barbell eyes are the quickest way to add weight and action to any pattern. 20 pieces per package. Choose from 3 finishes and 4 sizes.
These are great for clousers and stuff, but they get to be pretty expensive.

They are very durable since they are solid brass. These eyes take a beating and keep on working.

These are very shiny plated hourglass eyes with a domed, not flat, eye surface. They are perfect for inverted bucktail and streamer ("clouser" style) patterns when you want a bit of flash but maybe not an "eye" on the pattern. One of the most fun uses is to tie the great Edson Tiger patterns using these instead of the hard-to-find or hard-to-make brass tabs on the original patterns. Use the gold Brass Eyes and tie the pattern upside-down on a long shank hook, with the bucktail extending just beyond the hook bend. A contemporary take on great classic patterns that are killer on trout and bass!

My Go To For Crabs

The Large and Medium I use for crab patterns for redfish and sheepshead. They give a great fall rate and keep the fly turned over exactly how I need it!
