These stainless steel shanks are made of heavier gauge wire that can handle more materials and hold bigger fish. They also provide extended length, with oversized front and back loops for bigger hooks. The front and back loops are offset for interconnectivity.
These things are great for building very large streamers,, and they take a pounding. I live in muskie central and haven't had one fail yet. great product!

Movement and strength.

If your like me and use fly's that need movement and strength then these will do the trick. They are a bit heavy gauge for trout flies and wold use a smaller gauge if available. But are durable and nothing I hate more than having to change flys all day when they fall apart. These hold up to abuse. Plus as long as I don't loose a fly to a pesky log I can always reuse.

Strongest shanks on the market!

Only shanks out there that hold up to large toothy predators like pike or musky . Must have for any articulated predator patterns.
These things are really cool!My minnow patterns come out looking amazing with these. They are super strong. The only down fall is how thick they are,but then again, that's what makes them so strong
