Firehole Slotted Tungsten Beads

Reviewer: from CO

Great quality, amazing colors selections and although they have hook size suggestions in order to match up beads with hooks, the slotted hole on one side makes the beads able to fit on a wider variety of hooks making them superior most of the time. Although the slot is harder to hide than a regular hole or dished hole, either way, great product again from Firehole Outdoors!

Precision Top Quality...but at a Cost

Reviewer: from Richardson Texas

Bought a box to check them out and compare them to the Hareline counterparts that I have been using for a while. I ordered the 2.5mm in Olive to tie on some Firehole 516 hooks. I'm very impressed with the fit, finish and over all quality for the beads. The slots are more finely cut so they fit much neater on the hook. The bead stays put when you start tying; it doesn't spin around to where you constantly have to reset it. The olive finish looks awesome tying green caddis pattern nymphs. The only down slide is the price $.30 for Firehole and $.23 for Hareline. I lean towards that they are worth the extra cost. We will see how weel the painted finish holds up the next time I go fishing.

Good Stuff

Reviewer: from Arkansas

I was really impressed with how these fit. I have only tried them on firehole hooks, but they are beautiful. The mounds color is perfect for subtle, darker patterns, especially with a black paintpen for a couple eyes. I highly recommend these.
