These scissors are simply the best i've owned. They will cut anything they can get their jaws around. The serrated blade are a great addition. It makes cutting fine wire easy and it wont dent your scissors. Long no further, these are best scissors for the money.
Bought these specifically to cut wire and other tougher materials that could dull my thread scissors. I couldn't be happier with the decision. Strong, comfortable in the hand and tough enough to handle metal materials without denting or dulling.
I was looking for some scissors that would fill the middle ground of cutting purposes. (Between cheap "who cares" and my nice thread scissors.) This pair fit the bill well. They are well constructed, have decent sized tips, are sharp and are cheap enough that I don't have to worry about what I cut. They work great for hair, feathers, tinsel and pretty much anything else you don't want to touch with your "good" scissors. They could probably even be a decent pair of primary scissors and I find myself not reaching for my Anvils much of the time when these are closer. I find them comfortable to hold, both while tying and when in use. Overall, I'm fairly impressed with the ECO line of Dr. Slick's.
I lost my scissors on a recent fishing trip and picked these up because they were cheap, but I have no complaints. They've worked well for me, and the pointed tip is great for cutting thread off close.
Does what you want scissors to do without emptying your wallet in the bargain. Great for general work, a little coarse for midges, but comfortable to use. If you're not cutting micro materials ten times an hour, 8 hrs a day these will do very well.
